Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking is proud to be the first French bank to support the European Investment Bank (EIB)’s first dedicated lending envelope to support the European space sector through its EIB Space Lending Facility. The initiative, which was announced at the European Space Agency - ESA’s Ministerial Council on 26th November 2025, is supported by the ESA and the European Commission, has been designed to address a structural gap in access to credit for European space SMEs and mid-caps, supporting the development of Europe’s industrial base and strengthening supply-chain resilience. At Natixis CIB, we support ESA in these initiatives and its desire to exchange and bring expertise to the banking and financial world. We recognize that the global space economy is at a critical juncture, and we are convinced that the financial sector must be an active partner in this transformation. Our mission is to leverage our innovative structuring capabilities that can turn highly technical, visionary ideas into bankable, operational projects. Supporting the space sector is also a matter of European resilience, at topic which Natixis CIB and Groupe BPCE are strongly committed to, as part of the strategic project, Vision 2030. 🤔🪙How should central banks steer policy when structural uncertainty is high? 📌 At our recent event in London, Huw Pill, Chief Economist of the Bank of England, joined Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking’s Alain Durré, European Chief Economist, and Sylwia Hubar, UK Economist, to discuss the Monetary Policy Committee’s diverging views and the challenges of reading inflation in a volatile economic environment. 🔎 Pill highlighted the need to “find the signal in the noise”: focusing on medium-term dynamics, structural changes in the labour market, and predictable, gradual policy actions – both in interest rates and quantitative tightening. A fascinating discussion on how the BoE is adapting its framework to maintain price stability in a shifting global landscape. Read a summary of the discussion here⬇️ https://lnkd.in/eun2s2AY

🏦 The European Central Bank decided to maintain its three key interest rates following the Governing Council's October meeting, confident that it can meet its primary mandate of securing price stability. Its view remains fixed on short term inflation projections given the continued risks over global trade and conflict. The below article comes from a conversation between ECB Vice President Luis De Quindos and our Head of EMEA Economic Research, Alain Durré; they discussed the ECB's strategies and forecasts for managing inflation amidst global volatility. De Quindos was cautiously optimistic on economic recovery and confident in the performance of monetary policy tools but stressed that growth across the EU hinges on boosting consumption and addressing long-standing issues outside of monetary policy. 📖 Read a summary of their insights: https://lnkd.in/ekFmemBq
