Many enterprises struggle to act on digital sovereignty because it’s defined inconsistently across the market. At Think 2026, we highlighted three ways trust can be engineered from the ground up: 1️⃣ Architecture: IBM Sovereign Core builds authority directly into your environment. 2️⃣ Resilience: Minimize disruption through dedicated environments to maintain control and continuity. 3️⃣ Partnerships: Open, replaceable architectures help avoid vendor lock-in. IBM SVP and Chief Legal Officer Anne Robinson dives into the digital sovereignty agenda here: https://ibm.co/6049EMZbN

Earlier today, IBM, with support from the U.S. Department of Commerce, announced plans to create America's first pure-play quantum wafer foundry. The new company, Anderon, will be purpose-built to manufacture 300mm quantum wafer technology at the scale needed to power the global quantum industry. Quantum computing is the first new computing paradigm in more than 80 years, and it will let us solve problems in chemistry, materials, and optimization that are out of reach today. IBM has spent decades advancing the science and engineering of building quantum computers. We have deployed more than 90 quantum systems around the world, making this technology available to the broadest ecosystem of scientists, developers and creators. We have laid out a clear path to delivering the world's first large-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computer by 2029. Our hope is that Anderon will be a catalyst to our mission of bringing quantum to an expansive community building the future of computing. The Department of Commerce and IBM are each contributing $1 billion towards Anderon, in addition to the significant intellectual property, infrastructure, and people IBM is contributing to help launch it. This is just the start. Our path on quantum is clear, and today we’re taking an important new step forward. https://lnkd.in/dSQYvuHQ

I went to a live DJ set built with AI. #IBMPartner A developer spent 100 hours attempting to build a DJ software and still couldn’t finish it. Beat matching is deeply mathematical and notoriously hard because it involves perfectly syncing up 2 songs as 1. With IBM Bob, they finished the entire software in only 15 hours. And the best part is that AI didn’t replace them; they’re still the artist choosing every song and transition. But AI made this difficult project finally possible to do. If you've never heard of IBM Bob, it's an AI development partner that works across your entire software lifecycle, from writing code to actually shipping it. Here's what that actually means in practice for enterprises: ↳ Ship faster without sacrificing quality ↳ Agentic automation with built-in guardrails, security, & compliance ↳ Works across your entire dev lifecycle from design to deployment I loved seeing IBM Bob in action at Red Hat Summit and hearing firsthand how it’s helped real people! Try IBM Bob now: ibmcreator.com/49afQS7
