    For this year’s International Day of Women and Girls in Science, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Sandra Lavorel, Senior Scientist at the French National Center for Scientific Research. Our conversation, with the R&I teams in Saclay and Utrecht, was a powerful reminder that science advances when people feel safe to experiment, be bold, and step outside their comfort zone. As leaders, we play a key role in creating that psychological safety, and it starts with deep listening. Sandra highlighted the impact of diversity through a striking parallel with biodiversity: teams thrive when diverse voices and skills complement each other. Diversity fuels innovation, and inclusion is the key to unlocking its full potential. We also reflected on the importance of role models and allies in fostering inclusion for all. The first step is awareness: encouraging teams to explore unconscious biases, because we can’t change what we don’t see.     Building the Future of Dairy Farming Together! 🌿 We recently announced the launch of the Danone Milk Academy – a global upskilling program designed to strengthen our dairy supply chain and empower the next generation of farmers. Through three Centers of Excellence, local trainings and a digital learning platform, we’re supporting our global farmer partners’ network to adopt sustainable practices, embrace innovation, and build resilient businesses. First two centers opened a few months ago in the United States and in Belgium, gathering over 100 farmers from 9 countries – a big step in transforming dairy farming for a future-fit, regenerative food system. Stay tuned for the next opening!
