Flagfox 6.2.0 for Firefox 115+ has been released and will be available for update and download from AMO as soon as it is approved by Mozilla.
Flagfox 6.2.0 changelog:
- IPv4 & IPv6 address location database updates for June 2026
- Added support to declare lack of data collection via manifest
- Fixed various AMO validator warnings relating to support for old versions of Firefox
- Removed old JS polyfills needed to support old versions of Firefox
- Removed old CSS vendor prefixes needed to support old versions of Firefox
- Dropped support for Firefox 60-114 due to age and required updates for manifest loading and addon signing
-> This Flagfox version requires at least Firefox 115.31 ESR; Firefox 140 ESR or later is recommended
The minimum Firefox version this will install and run in is Firefox 115.31 ESR. Firefox 115 ESR is currently in extended-extended support releases in order to maintain continued support on Windows 7-8.1 and macOS 10.12-10.14. Due to a deficiency in the way Mozilla validates addons for upload, the minimum supported version in the manifest must be set to only 115.0. If you need to use an old version of something, make sure to at least use the newest old version that is available. Firefox 115.13+ is needed to support all current addon signing certificates and Firefox 115.31+ is needed to load new manifest keys without erroring. The current versions of Firefox that people should actually be using are one of 115.37.0, 140.12.0, or 152.0.4 and newer.
