Next Chapter in ILIAS Solutions: Change of Top Leadership In close coordination with Patria leadership, Jean-Pierre Wildschut will step down as CEO of ILIAS Solutions (ILIAS) July 1st, passing leadership to Harald Kokelkoren. At the end of 2026, Jean-Pierre Wildschut will retire, until that time he will support the management team as an advisor. Last week, Patria welcomed the Ambassador of Sweden to Latvia, H.E. Mr Daniel Olsson, to Patria's Valmiera facility and the Defence Partnership Latvia site. 🇸🇪🇱🇻 During the visit, the Ambassador was introduced to Patria’s local operations and ongoing development work in Valmiera, with a focus on manufacturing capabilities and technological development. Discussions highlighted the role of international cooperation in strengthening European security and industrial resilience. Patria is ready to support Lithuania’s plans to acquire 6x6 armoured vehicles as part of its potential participation in the Common Armoured Vehicle System (CAVS) programme. 🇱🇹 🇫🇮 Through CAVS, Patria can provide a solution that combines proven vehicle performance with long-term industrial and operational benefits for Lithuania. Technology transfer is at the core of Patria’s business model, backed by decades of success across three continents and seven countries. Transferring armoured vehicle manufacturing expertise to local partners improves security of supply and strengthens local industry. Launched in 2020 by Finland and Latvia, the CAVS programme aims to deliver a joint, modern 6x6 armoured vehicle system based on Patria 6x6 vehicle. So far, the participating countries are Finland, Latvia, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany and the UK. 🇳🇴 CAVS update from Norway: The Framework Agreement has now been signed, marking the next steps in the programme towards serial procurement of Patria 6x6 armoured vehicles. Norway’s signature is another tangible step forward for multinational Common Armoured Vehicle System (CAVS) cooperation. The framework lets member nations act quickly and purchase efficiently, ensuring stronger security of supply through shared industrial cooperation. Launched in 2020 by Finland and Latvia, the CAVS programme aims to deliver a modern 6x6 armoured vehicle system based on Patria 6x6 vehicle that meets the operational needs of European and NATO nations. Patria and NestAI have entered a technology partnership to bring adaptive AI capabilities to unmanned systems for European defence forces. The partnership pairs Patria’s drone platform, operational reach and expertise in unmanned systems, with NestAI’s adaptive intelligence and open, modular operating system for modern battlefield operations ‒ combining state of the art AI and a world-class defence platform in one system. "Patria’s unmanned systems are built for the most demanding conditions in Europe. With NestAI’s AI capabilities, we can make them more intelligent and more effective for the operators who depend on them," says Panu Routila, President and CEO of Patria. Ambassador of Spain to Latvia, H.E. Mr Manuel Alhama Orenes, visited Patria’s facilities in Valmiera and the Defence Partnership Latvia site. 🇪🇸🤝🇱🇻 The Ambassador was welcomed by Patria’s Site Director Arnis Irbens and Operations Development and Support Director Didzis Veidenbaums. During the visit, the Patria team introduced the activities and future development plans, including cooperation with the Spanish company GDLS Santa Bárbara Sistemas on establishing an ASCOD infantry fighting vehicle assembly line in Valmiera. Discussions were formed on strengthening international cooperation, innovation, education and economic development opportunities between Latvia and Spain.
