𝗠𝗜𝗨𝗥𝗔 𝟱 𝗠𝗼𝗰𝗸-𝗨𝗽 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀! Our team has successfully completed the MIURA 5 strongback testing using a full‑scale mockup that accurately replicates our launcher’s inertia and mass distribution. This enables us to validate the hydraulic systems, mechanical interfaces and the load‑resistance capability of the fore clamp, the system that secures the rocket to the strongback. This approach decouples final vehicle integration from the launch pad, enabling us to: ✅ Optimize ground infrastructure. ✅ Overlap operations and cut turnaround times. ✅ Improve efficiency and support a higher launch cadence. MIURA 5 strongback is now ready for shipping to CSG launch complex in French Guiana! #GoMIURA5

𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮 🚀🌴 This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Jean Luk LE WEST, Vice-President of the Collectivité Territoriale de Guyane, and Marie Lucienne RATTIER, Territorial Councillor for Innovation, to our headquarters in Elche (Spain). Their visit highlights the close collaboration we are building with the institutions and the community of French Guiana, a territory that is not only strategic for MIURA 5, but also one of the places where PLD Space lives and grows every day. With part of our team already working on-site and preparations advancing at the Guiana Space Centre (CSG) in Kourou, we are working closely with local institutions and the community to: ▪️ Create quality local employment ▪️ Invest in infrastructure and long‑term facilities ▪️ Build partnerships with regional industry and stakeholders ▪️ Contribute to sustainable economic development Thank you, Jean‑Luk and Marie‑Lucienne, for your visit and for the constructive conversations. We have successfully completed the 𝗟𝗣𝗦𝗥𝟮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 European Space Agency - ESA, a key study within the Future Launchers Preparatory Programme (FLPP) that enables us to advance the 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗜𝗨𝗥𝗔 𝟱 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲.   Throughout this work, our team evaluated propulsive braking strategies, trajectory adjustments, and technological solutions applicable to structures, propulsion, avionics, and fuel management. These advances strengthen our capabilities in reusable launch systems and open the door to integrating these technologies into future operational versions of MIURA 5.   This milestone coincides with the ESA Future Space Transportation Spring Session in Paris, where we shared the results with institutional representatives, industry, and investors, and stands as a decisive step toward first‑stage recovery, bringing this capability closer to operational reality. 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 - 𝘄𝗲’𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 €𝟭𝟴𝟬𝗠 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗖 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴! With over €350 million raised to date, this new investment, lead by Mitsubishi Electric, reinforces our technological and industrial leadership in the launcher market, enabling us to execute the next phase of our strategic roadmap with the speed and scale required to compete globally. MIURA 5 was designed to address a clear and growing capacity gap in the market, and this investment support strengthens our ability to transition into commercial operations. It accelerates the build‑out of the industrial and launch infrastructure required to deliver reliable access to space for an expanding pipeline of global customers. The Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, through the Centre for the Development of Technology and Innovation (CDTI), the Spanish public funds management company COFIDES and the European renowned Spanish fund Nazca Capital through have co-invested in this round. Agradecemos a la Generalitat Valenciana y el Ayuntamiento de Elche - Ajuntament d'Elx su predisposición para seguir avanzando en hacer realidad nuestra futura fábrica de lanzadores espaciales. Queremos reconocer la voluntad del president Juanfran Pérez Llorca y del alcalde Pablo Ruz Villanueva, así como el trabajo de sus equipos, para facilitar la coordinación administrativa y explorar nuevas vías de colaboración orientadas al crecimiento industrial y a la formación de talento especializado. Desde PLD Space, seguimos trabajando para consolidar este "proyecto icónico industrial a nivel europeo" y generar nuevas oportunidades industriales y de empleo en la región. 🚀

Ayer acogimos en nuestra sede central de Elche la reunión de la Comisión de Espacio de TEDAE, Asociación Española de Empresas Tecnológicas de Defensa, Seguridad, Aeronáutica y Espacio, de la que PLD Space forma parte. La sesión ha sido una buena oportunidad para compartir perspectivas, avanzar en líneas de trabajo comunes y seguir construyendo, entre todos, el futuro de la industria espacial española. Un verdadero placer reunir a toda la Comisión en nuestra casa. 🚀
