🚀 Following our recent announcement about our contract with Dassault Aviation, we wanted to take a step back and share a short series explaining the scale and strategic importance of this programme — starting with the basics: 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗩𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗫? Europe is entering a new phase in space. For years, the focus has been on access to space. Now, the conversation is expanding toward something bigger: 𝗼𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻-𝗼𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀. That is where VORTEX, led by Dassault Aviation, comes in. Designed as a reusable orbital vehicle, #VORTEX is a multi-phase programme aimed at enabling a new class of European space capabilities — from cargo transport to future crewed missions. At Arkadia Space, we are proud to contribute to this vision from the very beginning — 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗫-𝗗 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿, the first step in what could become one of Europe’s most strategic space transportation programmes.
