For Le Touquet, specifically Talk:Le Touquet/GA2.

The book is organised by French department numbers. I'm not sure if it's volume 9 but it should presumably be under chapter 62, which is definitely called Pas-de-Calais. The question is whether the references that are in the Rail section support the current wording of the text. Very likely that the book is offline and only available in France.

I am having difficulty locating sourced results for the Finnish Figure Skating Championships, which were held in December 1986 and December 1989. The 1989 event began on December 10, but I have been unable to find anything with regards to the outcome. Chances are good that the 1986 event was held mid-December. Any help locating newspaper articles for these results would be appreciated!

Semi-obscure to obscure request here. The score for the piece Spain (instrumental) ends right before the chorus with the clapping, which is very unfortunate. If anyone has a physical or digital copy of the music for Spain who could either send it to me or extend it themselves would be greatly appreciated. It can be found in the real Latin book as well as in the Real Book Vol. 4. It can be purchased for just under 2 dollars, so if no one already owns it, I may purchase it myself. @FloblinTheGoblin You can find a version of the Real book here on the Internet Archive. A score for Spain can be found on p. 482 (number in the book, equivalent to p. 492 in the IA scrollbar). @Mmemaigret: That was being used as a reference on Northern Suburbs Transit System before that article was merged with Yanchep line. Its possible that this article only appeared in the Western Australian edition of the newspaper. Otherwise, something is wrong in the original citation. Steelkamp, that reference was added by Thewinchester in this 2007 edit, with the note "Accessed at State Records Office of Western Australia, Perth". Any further context to this?

What I can say is, based on the reference and the original commit date, that citation is from a newspaper article that was within Government Archives, found when I was doing in-person research from files requested from their offsite archive.

Sadly, my original cite at the time does not have the file number, box or other information which would allow me to quickly identify where in the files it was.

I can say with certainty, that the content I quoted from the article in the commit is a direct and accurate quote of the article observed.

The Entangled Worlds which ended up appended to #1 is a duplicate of your request at § Entangled Worlds: 600–1350. #4 (for Guallatiri) is a 404, and with no title, author etc., we cannot locate it. I cannot find anything like this behind the paywall in the current version of the OED, nor in the second edition text. Here's what the etymology tab of OED3 says:

A borrowing from Latin. Etymon: Latin sincēritas.
< Latin sincēritas, < sincērus sincere adj.: see ‑ity suffix. Compare French sincérité (1519), Spanish sinceridad, Portuguese sinceridade, Italian sincerità.

No mention of this "without wax" business. A cursory google seems to show this exact phrasing mirrored on a number of forums and other websites, so maybe some circular reporting has gone on here? Ethmostigmus 🌿 (talk | contribs) 05:42, 1 April 2026 (UTC)reply

For Know Nothing and Anti-Irish sentiment.

On both articles, a blockquote cited to "the Know Nothing Platform (c. 1855)" and referenced to the requested source doesn't align with copies of the American Party platform passed at its 1855 national conference]. (The sentiment aligns, but not the language.) The reference is part of the Gale Virtual Reference Library, but it's not one of the collections that The Wikipedia Library offers directly or through EBSCO, but it looks like it might be accessible on-site at a university library. Based on the Table of Contents, I think Chapter 5 is the relevant section. I'm trying to determine if the blockquote was from a state platform or a pamphlet or speech supporting the party, if it didn't actually come from a different version of the national party platform.

@ScalarFactor: They're a little debatable in terms of their depth. I've emailed you the relevant section from both reviews.
