Attributes are missing
[edit source]I couldn't find the topic of attributes in C#. Where should this subchapter added? And: I propose that other important missing subjects should also be included in the table of contents so that it is easier find missing information. General info missing
[edit source]On a few pages the phrase "assembly" or "assemblies" is used. This is quite a common term used in C# documents. There is, however, no mention in the book what this actually means.
The "using" directive isn't really explained as far as I can tell. What's it for? How does one include code (compiled or not) by others like libraries.
The same goes for indexes, it is mentioned ones but never really explained, nor are the basic data types.
It would also be good to elaborate a bit more on the subject of actually creating an application instead of only focussing on the language itself. Compiling is mentioned briefly, but what is next? What would be a general structure to set up an application? What is an .pa file, how and when should it be used? --Prodoc (discuss • contribs) 20:09, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
Inheritance as an advanced topic
[edit source]Does the Inheritance chapter deserve to be under advanced topics? It seems to me that inheritance is an integral part of understanding classes/objects and some new readers may avoid it altogether (I know I try to stick to what are considered the "basics" of a language for a time before moving on to more advanced ideas when learning) to their detriment when trying to understand basic OOP concepts. I'm new here and just figured I'd throw it out there. HumanThePequenino (discuss • contribs) 09:03, 25 January 2013 (UTC)
adding async as an advanced topic
[edit source]With the introduction of async await, asynchronous programming is becoming increasingly easier and more heavily used. I think it deserves one of it's own topic. Peter Zhong (discuss • contribs) 04:31, 11 July 2016 (UTC)

Disconnect between book organization on main page and sub-pages
[edit source]The main topic links on the cover page differ from those on the navigational sub-pages (i.e., Intro, Basics, Advanced, etc.). Recommend one of two approaches:
- SIMPLE SOLUTION: Change the navigation template so that it takes the reader to the headings on the cover page, then change the navigational sub-pages to redirects to sections on the cover page.
- WIKI SOLUTION: Change the cover page so that it includes template-ready versions of the navigational sub-pages so that any edits to the sub-pages will show up on the cover page.
