The BACnet module for Drupal is used to display various kinds of 'real-time' data from building automation systems, directly in your website as Energy content.
In order to use this module, you must have already arranged with the facility engineering administrators for access to their systems. This can be a formidable task. The BACnet Interest Group - Drupal manages several demo building automation systems in order to help Drupal developers overcome this obstacle.
It should also be noted that all building automation systems are NOT created equal, meaning in this case, that not all building automation systems have implemented any form of BACnet Web Services. So, before quoting jobs to provide this capability, make sure that it is even possible.
