The rise of Agentic agents in military headquarters is a foregone conclusion. Understanding how they perform, where they may hallucinate answers, and their requirement for credible and reliable data sets at the heart of their utility. In the latest episode of the Command & Control podcast, Dr Peter Roberts chats with Henrik Sommer, a retired Brigadier General with the Danish military, about the potential, vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and opportunities that AI can provide, as well as a discussion about Systematic's new Wingman AI tool. The importance of coders, teachers and trainers of algorithms, and how we prompt AI come out as clear markers in this conversation, as does the core question: how much should we trust AI in the military? 🎧Download the latest episode of Command & Control, or check it out on the Systematic website at https://lnkd.in/evWfgHta #CommandandControl #AI #SystematicDefence #AgenticAI

Medical C2 in Multi-Domain Operations Interoperability, AI-enabled decision-making, cloud-native data sharing, autonomous systems, resilient communications in denied environments: the MDO agenda is ambitious and accelerating. Medical services are often not part of that conversation. Casualty flow, patient tracking and evacuation routing still rely on fragmented reports and manual coordination, even though they affect force sustainment as directly as ammunition supply or manoeuvre planning. That is starting to change. Armed forces are recognising that digitized medical C2 belongs in their Multi-Domain planning, not alongside it. SitaWare Battlefield Health was built for exactly this shift. Not as a standalone medical IT system, but as an integrated capability within the SitaWare Suite, connecting the medical picture to the operational picture. See how it works 🎥 Find out more: https://lnkd.in/etK6bPZv #Systematic #SitaWare #C2 #MDO #Medical

This week, our team was at the Paris Defence & Strategy Forum at Académie de défense de l'École militaire Denmark was guest of honour, and the conversations we had went to the heart of what European defence needs to get right: how allies share a common operational picture without surrendering control of their own data. That's not an abstract question for us. The French Army is fielding SitaWare Headquarters across its entire land component, and next month's Exercise ORION 26 will put it to the test at scale for the first time. Emmanuel Chagot, our Director of Business Development for France, shares why this forum, and this moment, matters for European defence cooperation.

During exercise HANDWERK 26, the Österreichisches Bundesheer (Austrian Armed Forces) 4th Mechanised Infantry Brigade deployed SitaWare as C2 system for the first time. Approximately 300 personnel conducted combined arms operations in a fully digital command post exercise at the Theresianische Militärakademie, with eleven command posts connected through SitaWare across all combat arms: mechanised infantry, armour, reconnaissance, artillery, logistics and CBRN defence. A Systematic support team was on site throughout the exercise, working alongside commanders and staff as they used SitaWare for operational planning and mission execution. 👉 Link in the comments. #SitaWare #Bundesheer #C2 #C4ISR #CombinedArms #Systematic #Defence

The German Armed Forces Cyber and Information Domain (CIR Bundeswehr) just published an article on Battle Management Systems. Their reference: The SitaWare Suite - covering command posts, combat vehicles, mobile forces and medical services, across all domains. According to them, modern BMS deliver: Real-time force tracking, interoperable data exchange across NATO partners, rapid adaptability to changing scenarios, and verified data authenticity as the basis for confident decision-making. What the ongoing discussion also makes clear: None of that matters without the right foundations. Capable networks, deep component integration and an architecture that holds from the tactical edge to the data centre. 📄 Article in German 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dZAjRUrV #Bundeswehr #SitaWare #BattleManagementSystem #Interoperability #MadeInEurope #Systematic

The latest update to SitaWare Insight puts new AI capabilities directly into the hands of intelligence staff and commanders: AI-powered terrain analysis from satellite imagery, track prediction with custom models, and an enhanced Wingman that draws on your own mission data. From raw data to operationally relevant intelligence, faster. Beyond AI, version 1.9 extends interoperability with native support for NATO Secondary Imagery Format (NSIF/STANAG 4545) and introduces a Custom Data framework for user-defined structured data modelling. 👉 Find out more: https://lnkd.in/esr-fWeu #SitaWare #Systematic #DefenseTechnology #ArtificialIntelligence #C4ISR #MultiDomainOperations #NATO

Undersea cables. Offshore platforms. LNG terminals. They power our economies, connect our communications, and they're increasingly under attack. Systematic's Lasse Krabbesmark and Kartheeban Nagenthiraja recently spoke to ✈ Transport Security International Magazine about the growing threat to critical maritime infrastructure in the age of Gray Zone warfare. Their insights are striking. Lasse puts it plainly: "We have seen a lot of situations with cables being cut in one way or another." Kartheeban adds that infrastructure owners are willing to share data with national defence agencies, but only if those agencies are genuinely prepared to act on it. The challenge isn't just technology. It's building the structures for data sharing, coordination and response that match the scale and ambiguity of the threat. Ahead of the Defence and Strategy Forum in Paris later this month hosted by Académie de défense de l'École militaire, it's worth revisiting a question at the heart of European defence: who really controls your C2 systems? Systematic founder and Chairman of the Board Michael Holm recently joined Dr Peter Roberts on the Command and Control Podcast to discuss the lessons of Ukraine, the push for speed in defence decision-making, and why data sovereignty has moved from talking point to strategic imperative. Read the key takeaways in our latest blog https://lnkd.in/ebQgcc5k Michael and CEO Nikolaj Bramsen will be at PDSF on 24–26 March. Reach out if you'd like to connect.
