Accessibility
Youtrust is responsible for the accessibility of the signature flow displayed inside the iframe. As the integrator, you are responsible for the page that embeds it — and for the <iframe> element itself, which the SDK creates with the values you provide. The SDK never moves focus or alters your page: the hooks below are yours to use.
Give the iframe an accessible name. Pass a short, localized title through iframeAttributes. Without it, the iframe fails WCAG 2.2 — 4.1.2 (Name, Role, Value) in your audits.
Size the container generously. Avoid nested scrolling (page scrollbar + iframe scrollbar): it is painful for keyboard users and harms content reflow.
Move focus into the flow when it appears. If the iframe is injected after a user action (e.g. clicking "Sign"), send focus to it so keyboard and screen reader users land on the flow:
const iframe = document.getElementById('yousign-iframe');
iframe.setAttribute('tabindex', '-1');
iframe.focus();Move focus out when the flow ends. When you hide or remove the iframe in a callback, focus would otherwise be lost to the top of the page. Send it to your replacement content and announce the outcome:
yousign.onSuccess(() => {
iframeContainer.hidden = true;
confirmation.hidden = false;
confirmationHeading.focus(); // a heading with tabindex="-1"
statusRegion.textContent = 'Your document has been signed.'; // an element with role="status"
});Apply the same pattern in onDeclined and onError.
