Floating Pi: Video

I would have to say so far getting comfortable with customizing small electronics is pretty cool. Being able to navigate all the little frustrations and situations, it's just very exciting when things start to work at all! This involved a lot of new things for me, the whole situation - using a raspberry pi, knowing what a "hat" is, connecting a pi without an attached monitor, i'd say its all new territory for me! haha.

But really, the coolest thing I felt internally was knowing that I could make the device discoverable by connecting it with an ethernet cable so it gets assigned an IP address and then I can ssh into it. Knowing I could do that, being able to use that information, thats power. A year ago I didn't even know what ssh was. The combined knowledge of many efforts, thats the truly exciting part.
