They work quite differently and here is my observation 1) If you want deep collaboration, use Claude Code and when the app becomes messy and needs real engineering judgment 2) If you want delegated execution, use Codex. Use Codex to handle bug fixes, test coverage, cleanup, and docs 3) If you want autonomous multi-step building, use Antigravity. Use Antigravity to build the product skeleton Inshort Claude Code helps you think like a stronger engineer, Antigravity helps you build like you have an AI dev team, and Codex helps you delegate software work like an engineering manager.

Un chef d'œuvre d'ingénierie biologique capturé dans ce cliché, qui a remporté le Royal Entomological Society Photography Competition 2024 👇🏻 🦟 Ce que vous voyez sur cette image, c'est un magnifique portrait macro d'une mouche qu'on appelle ogre à moucherons. De son nom scientifique 𝐻𝑜𝑙𝑐𝑜𝑐𝑒𝑝ℎ𝑎𝑙𝑎, elle peuple les prairies de l'Est des États-Unis. Et comme le nom l'indique, elle se nourrit presque exclusivement de moucherons. 🎯 Elle doit repérer, poursuivre et intercepter ses proies en plein vol en quelques fractions de seconde. Un exercice particulièrement complexe qui suppose de très bonnes facultés de détection optique. 🔎 Justement, regardez le cliché : sur fond vert pâle, on peut admirer la sophistication de ses yeux. Deux immenses dômes rouge-orangé occupent presque toute la tête de la mouche. 👁 Ce sont des yeux dits "composés". Ils sont constitués de centaines d'unités visuelles indépendantes, bien visibles sur la photo. On les appelle les ommatidies. 👉 Chacune est pointée dans une direction légèrement différente, avec un écart angulaire d'environ 1 à 2 degrés entre chaque unité. Ensemble, elles couvrent un champ de vision quasi panoramique, proche de 360°. 🔬 On observe aussi clairement une variation de structure de l'oeil : les ommatidies sont grandes et orange vives au centre, plus petites et sombres en périphérie. 💡 La zone frontale concentre une vingtaine d'ommatidies particulièrement grandes, qui occupent à elles seules 20% du volume de l'œil pour ne couvrir que 0,1% du champ visuel total. Une concentration optique colossale pour un maximum de résolution en frontal. 🏅 Le résultat est bluffant : la mouche détecte un insecte en mouvement à plus de 50 cm de distance. Une acuité visuelle remarquable pour un animal qui ne mesure pas plus de 7 mm de long ! 🧭 Plus étonnant encore : l'ogre à moucheron dispose aussi d'une faculté optique très poussée pour éviter les obstacle en plein vol. Lorsqu'un obstacle apparaît dans son champ de vision, elle détecte instantanément l'expansion de l'image. Plus l'obstacle grossit vite dans son champ visuel, plus elle s'en écarte brutalement. ⚙️ Ces propriétés optiques avancées fascinent les ingénieurs en #biomimétisme. Une équipe de l'EPFL en Suisse a développé un capteur ultra-léger inspiré des mouches. Whether it’s text, audio, video, or images, GE 2 provides a unified representation to empower advanced RAG workflows. In our white paper, we take you behind the scenes to share how we trained a large-scale contrastive model on top of Gemini. Our approach achieves state-of-the-art results across key embedding benchmarks, including unimodal, cross-modal, and multimodal retrieval. We evaluated the model on a broad range of benchmarks and tested its performance on specialized domains for which it was not explicitly trained. But the quietly orbiting satellites overhead are what really drive the space economy. Even if launch capabilities drastically increase as SpaceX promises with Starship, satellite deployment bottlenecks will continue to hold the space economy back....

Space technology startup catalyx space has raised $5.4 million in a seed round, bringing its total funding to $7.1 million, to accelerate the development of a comprehensive infrastructure for orbital logistics. The company aims to enable efficient, reusable space transport systems through innovations in re-entry, recovery, and space manufacturing technologies. The funding round was led by Outlander VC, with participation from Arka Venture Labs, Lex Reddy, KDX, Scale Together, Higher Life Ventures, Nivesha Ventures, Pranatech, Bria, HF0, and Techstars. Catalyx will leverage the fresh capital to demonstrate its next-generation re-entry and landing capabilities, scale its commercialization strategy, and execute a series of upcoming missions. Since participating in the Techstars Space Accelerator and HF0, Catalyx has made rapid progress, launching its first spacecraft, completing successful drop and landing tests, and establishing a new spacecraft manufacturing facility in India. The company’s growing portfolio of technologies positions it to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of space supply chain infrastructure. LEAP71’s most ambitious rocket engine is here. 3D printed by Nikon SLM Solutions. 🚨 In May, computational engineering expert LEAP71 announced its rocket engine program — designed to scale its computational engineering methodology. What was expected to take a year reached a major milestone in just a few months: the unveiling of the XRB-2E6, a 2-meganewton full-flow staged combustion (FFSC) Methane/LOX engine. The engine was produced in Inconel 718, an aerospace-grade nickel alloy built to withstand the extreme heat and pressure of FFSC — often considered the holy grail of rocket propulsion for its efficiency. Yet, this efficiency comes with a challenge: managing pre-combusted methane and oxygen in a highly intricate injection system. LEAP71’s achievement shows how computational design can compress development time and unlock new possibilities in high-performance propulsion. It shows that AI tools can assess multiple objective functions far quicker than a human with conventional design tools. However, training the AI requires a large amount of input from naval architects and equipment vendors. Building rocket engines without human designers is no longer a sci-fi dream it’s the new standard for high-speed aerospace innovation. 🚀🧠 Meet NΞURON (or Noyron), the Large Computational Engineering Model that represents a total paradigm shift. Unlike traditional AI, this algorithm doesn't just guess; it uses physics and engineering logic to autonomously generate fully functional rocket engines from abstract specifications. 🛠️ Engineering the Impossible One-Piece Innovation: This aerospike engine was 3D-printed as a single monolithic copper alloy part (CuCrZr), eliminating the need for complex assembly or failure-prone seals. The Cooling Challenge: It uses a sophisticated regenerative cooling system, flooding the central spike with super-cold liquid oxygen (at -183°C) while the outer chamber is cooled by kerosene. Extreme Physics: While it burns at a staggering 3,000°C hot enough to melt steel the exterior is so cold that it sheds frozen ice and condensation during operation. That’s the copper engine itself burning a vital data point that is fed back into NΞURON to refine and harden the next design iteration in a matter of weeks, not years.
