AI targets everything we love — and often not in the best way. According to recent research from Deezer and Ipsos, they receive up to 50,000 fully AI-generated tracks every day. Many songs are downloaded and used to train #AI without permission, while some AI companies create music without the authors’ consent. El Pais also reported a growing number of cases where AI services use other people’s songs/voices, generate “new” tracks, and present them as “new releases” — deceiving listeners and violating copyright. We know firsthand how deepfakes work, how realistic they can be, and the scale of fraud they can lead to. In our fraud reports, we highlight the massive growth in fraud cases, and fake voices are part of that list. Always double-check information and stay vigilant. Follow Sumsub to keep up with key fraud trends and learn how to protect yourself.

Knock-knock, it’s fraud delivery. Fraud in delivery marketplaces is evolving fast — and sometimes… it’s not the criminals you think. In the newest episode of Sumsub’s #WhatTheFraudPodcast, Thomas Taraniuk speaks with Boris M., FinTech Director at Glovo, to explore how fraud unfolds across customers, couriers, and vendors — and why old defensive tactics are no longer enough. Together, they break down: • The rise of refund fraud, promo abuse, fake merchants, and GPS spoofing • How Glovo balances customer experience, business growth, and fraud prevention • The impact of AI — both as a threat and a defence • How global marketplaces adapt fraud strategies across different countries and more If you want to know how delivery giants stay ahead of fraudsters while scaling fast, this conversation is unmissable. 🎧 Listen now and uncover what really happens behind every “Order confirmed.” https://lnkd.in/dqGJ55Jx

AI is quietly reshaping everyday fraud, even inside companies. According to the Financial Times, a growing number of employees are experimenting with AI tools to generate realistic expense receipts and slip fake claims past finance checks. These forgeries look so authentic that traditional visual reviews barely stand a chance. This trend isn’t isolated. It’s part of a broader sophistication shift—the same one we unpack in today’s newly released Identity Fraud Report 2025–2026. AI-powered fraud is getting smarter, quieter, harder to spot. Which means verification can’t stay static. Fraud isn’t.

The Sophistication Shift: Fraud Is No Longer Loud — It’s Smarter. And It’s Here. Today we’re releasing the Sumsub Identity Fraud Report 2025–2026 — our most data-driven analysis yet, built on: 4M+ fraud attempts, 300+ fraud & risk experts surveyed, and 1,200+ end users surveyed across 6 regions. Some of the key findings: • 180% YoY surge in sophisticated fraud — deepfakes, synthetics, telemetry tampering. • #Deepfake attacks up 2,100%. • Top targets: Online media & dating (6.3% fraud rate each). • 2% of all fake documents detected this year were generated using tools such as #ChatGPT, #Grok, and #Gemini. And it’s just a little part. What does this mean for 2026? Fraud is no longer a front-end problem. It’s a behavioral problem. An AI problem. A telemetry problem. The next frontier belongs to businesses that can: • Unite behavioral analytics, AI-led risk scoring, and multi-modal verification • Detect fraud before the document hit • Identify whether an action comes from a human — or an AI fraud agent Verification can’t stay static. Fraud isn’t. Want to see what fraud will look like in 2026? Download the full report and stay ahead of the Sophistication Shift. https://lnkd.in/dYhctZfQ #FraudReport #Sumsub

🖤 Black Friday brings more than discounts—it brings fraud. Every year, the shopping rush gives rise to a darker trend: chargeback fraud. Customers falsely claim they never received an item or didn’t authorize a purchase, keeping both the product and the money. And while these “friendly” disputes may look harmless, they quietly drain merchants’ revenue. But not all hope is lost. With the right strategy, chargebacks can be prevented before they ever happen. From using 3D Secure and Visa CE 3.0 to leveraging AI-driven fraud detection, merchants can now stop deceptive transactions in real time—without hurting genuine customers. This #BlackFriday, make sure your business is ready. 💼 Protect your revenue with Sumsub’s AI-powered Fraud Prevention: https://lnkd.in/dJwXTGG9

Yesterday we officially wrapped up our first What the Fraud Summit in Singapore, and it was absolutely incredible. The concentration of experts in regulation, AI, digital identity, and fraud in one place helped us successfully achieve our goal: to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and define the next steps in the fight against fraud — all in a light, interactive format. Huge thanks to our partners, speakers, workshop participants, and all attendees, because this summit was first and foremost created by our team for you. Very soon we’ll release a recap with the key highlights, but for now we’ve all earned a good rest and a proper weekend! We’re not saying goodbye for long — we’ll definitely see each other again very soon. #WTFSummit #Singapore #Fintech #Fraud #AI
