      One setback did not stop Ayswarya from building a new future for herself. Ayswarya from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala had always hoped to become a doctor. But after being unable to clear NEET despite years of effort, she found herself navigating disappointment, uncertainty, and the financial pressures facing her family. With her father’s small business struggling to support the household and her brother preparing for government exams, pursuing higher education often felt financially out of reach. Yet, determined to move forward, Ayswarya secured admission to the BE Electrical and Computer Engineering program at the College of Engineering, Trivandrum. Through the #InfosysFoundation STEM Stars Scholarship Program, implemented in partnership with Buddy4Study, Ayswarya received support that helped ease the burden of tuition fees, rent, and academic expenses. The scholarship also allowed her to begin saving towards her aspirations for higher education abroad. Today, Ayswarya hopes to build a career in AI and Machine Learning, with a focus on developing responsible technologies that can improve accessibility and decision-making in healthcare. Through STEM Stars, Infosys Foundation continues to support young women from underserved communities in pursuing higher education and building long-term pathways in STEM. #STEMStars #WomenInSTEM #Education #Scholarship #STEMEducation
