And that’s why we’re scaling our GPU fleet faster than anyone else. Just last year, we added over 2 gigawatts of new capacity – roughly the output of 2 nuclear power plants. And today we’re going further, announcing the world's most powerful AI datacenter, located in southeastern Wisconsin. Fairwater is a seamless cluster of hundreds of thousands of NVIDIA GB200s, connected by enough fiber to circle the Earth 4.5 times. It will deliver 10x the performance of the world’s fastest supercomputer today, enabling AI training and inference workloads at a level never before seen. For AI training workloads, you need compute at exponential scale. That’s why we designed the datacenter, GPU fleet, and network together as one integrated system. This ensures a single job can run from day 1 at exponential scale across thousands of GPUs. Fairwater uses a liquid-cooled closed-loop system for cooling GPUs that requires zero water for operations after construction. And we’re matching all of the energy that is consumed with renewable sources. And of course, it is just one of several similar sites we’re lighting up across our 70+ regions. We have multiple identical Fairwater datacenters under construction in other locations across the US, in addition to our AI infrastructure already deployed in over 100 datacenters around the world, powering model training, test-time compute, RL tuning, and real-time inference at global scale. Too often during times like this, people go with the current and only later wonder, how did we get here? With Fairwater, we're charting a new path: doing the hard engineering work, bringing compute, network, and storage into one highly scaled cluster, and designing closed-loop energy systems to meet real-world computing needs. As I reflect on this incredible journey, I am filled with gratitude and pride for the experiences, challenges, and achievements that have shaped my professional life. When I joined Microsoft in France three decades ago, the world of technology was vastly different. The internet was in its infancy, and the idea of cloud computing was a distant dream. Over the years, I have witnessed and contributed to the evolution of technology, from the rise of personal computing to the advent of artificial intelligence and beyond. Throughout my tenure, I have had the privilege of working with some of the brightest minds in the industry. Together, we have pushed the boundaries of innovation, transforming ideas into reality and making a tangible impact on the world. From developing cutting-edge software solutions to driving digital transformation for our customers, every project has been a testament to the power of collaboration and creativity. One of the most rewarding aspects of my journey has been the opportunity to mentor and support the next generation of leaders. Seeing my colleagues grow and succeed has been a source of immense satisfaction and pride. Today, “Software” alone spans AI, SaaS, Data Platforms, Cyber Security, ERP, Automation, and Cloud consumption, all with completely different commercial models, supplier ecosystems, investment patterns, and transformation outcomes. The future of Category Management is becoming sharper, technology-led, and driven by deeper market and business insight. The value is no longer just in managing spend, it is in understanding where technology is evolving, where the business is investing, and being prepared to ask and position the right strategic questions before deals and markets shift.

Absolutely contagious. 💙 For one full morning, we rolled up our sleeves and explored – hands-on – how Microsoft 365 Copilot can truly reshape an EA's day: smarter meeting prep, faster inbox triage, sharper communication, and time given back to what really matters. 🚀 💗 And here's what truly touched my heart: after so many years of emails, calls, and Teams chats, I finally got to meet so many of you in person. Putting a real handshake, a real smile, a real hug to names I've known for ages – what a gift. Fun fact – and honestly, the most EA-thing-ever: every single guest arrived right on time and found their way to our premises with ease. No step-by-step guide, no situation map needed. 😉 If you ever wondered what world-class organizational talent looks like… it walked through our doors yesterday morning. 🎯 But what blew me away most was YOU – the curiosity, the courage to try, the "aha!" moments, the questions that pushed all of us further.
