“Everybody doubts. Don’t overthink, just believe in what you’re doing.” For StudioRoses (Rafa Roses Ferrater), being part of OFFF means sharing their passion with a global creative community. From theatre and film to conversations and travel, their inspiration comes from staying curious and keeping their eyes open. They came to connect, to share, and maybe even inspire someone along the way. And that’s exactly what OFFF is about. 🎥: Étienne Lacelle 📍See you next year: September 2-4, 2026 🎟️ Stay tuned

As a designer, it was truly inspiring to connect with extraordinary artists and explore another design branch (digital design completely took my breath away!) Meeting creative minds from all over the world, each with such unique backgrounds, reminded me how rich and diverse the design community truly is. Grateful for the opportunity to connect with the speakers and exchange ideas that push creativity forward. Feeling inspired and full of energy! Already looking forward to next year’s OFFF hope to catch up with everyone again! OFFF Montréal Thank you!
I had the pleasure of attending the first ever OFFF Montréal in September 2025 ! It was an incredibly enriching experience. I’m still processing the creativity, energy, and insights I witnessed and had the opportunity to be a part of. Especially having attended two incredible workshops hosted by Volvox Labs, UFACTORY and Moment Factory. I connected with so many talented designers and creative professionals from around the world, each bringing unique perspectives and inspiration. A big thank you to the OFFF Montreal team; Christine Roubeiz, the outstanding speakers, and all the attendees who made the event so memorable. I also wanted to thank my sponsor Catherine Leconte who was the one who made me discover this exceptional event. I am excited to carry these new ideas and inspiration into my work moving forward. ……

Thank you OFFF Montréal for letting us share our strange little universe on stage. We traced what happens when storytelling escapes logic, when images behave like memories, and how certain scientific theories like time bending, gravity hesitating, or parallel dimensions folding in on themselves, can open new ways to experience a narrative. Where perception gets wobbly, and reality starts to behave like a theory. We’re just poking at the edges, seeing what might poke back. Thanks for being curious with us! Looking for your next watch? 🍿 Beyond books, films and documentaries are also a powerful way to reflect on our practice as designers. They give us access to processes we don’t normally see, the stories behind iconic works, and the cultural and social contexts that shape design. We’ve selected 5 documentaries that cover different angles of the creative field, from learning how to “see” as a designer, to understanding the history of graphic production, exploring contemporary creative minds, and even how visual storytelling can transform communities. · Teaching to See (2012, Andrei Severny) · Abstract: The Art of Design (2017–, Scott Dadich) · Paper & Glue (2021, JR) · Graphic Means (2017, Briar Levit) · Helvetica (2007, Gary Hustwit) Each of these titles opens up a different perspective, whether it’s craft, process, history, or impact. 💬 What about you? Which documentary has inspired your design journey? Share your recommendations in the comments, we’d love to hear them.

Astral Twin installation by Volvox Labs 🦾 A robotic, audiovisual experience at OFFF Montréal that blurred the line between human intention and machine intuition. Rather than simply responding, the screen grows and shifts in real time, creating a flow go changing light, color, and shape. It’s like watching a new kind of choreography unfold before your eyes.
