Whether you’re looking for high speed internet access while traveling, or live in a rural area and are unable to get internet in your home, CAP sites are available and provide training as well as general access. Since 1995 CAP has been providing high speed internet access and assistance, free of - or with relatively no - charge. CAP was a federal initiative, designed to create affordable access to the internet, building and strengthening communities across Canada. After the federal program was finished, CAP stayed alive in Nova Scotia and continues in innovative and exciting directions.
CAP creates a large number of employment opportunities for students aged 15 to 30. With the help of a federal grant, CAP employs hundreds of students for both summer and winter work terms, helping them gain valuable work experience in a public environment. -
