Our VP of IT Tedda Sandercock has officially retired and I am filled with gratitude, appreciation and a bit of sadness to see her go, I am incredibly thankful for the amazing leadership she showed for all of us blessed enough to have worked with her. We will miss you, and I wish you a well deserved retirement. At the same time, I want to wish Adam Janssens my deepest congratulations and excitement on being appointed our new VP of IT! The past 5 years working alongside you has been an incredible experience. Adam Janssens liked thisFun fact: before joining HPE, I worked at Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC), where I was the Solution Architect who helped implement Zerto and the Cyber Resilient Vault. It was a really interesting project to be part of, from design and implementation through to getting it operational and ready to protect the environment. Now that I am with Hewlett Packard Enterprise, I’m in a unique position to bring perspectives from both sides of the table, as the customer implementing the technology, and now from the HPE side. Adam Janssens liked thisAdam Janssens liked thisLast Friday marked my final day at AGLC as Chief Information Officer, bringing to a close an incredible 30+ year journey with a truly remarkable organization. As I reflect on my career at AGLC, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunities, experiences, and relationships that have shaped both my professional and personal life. I have been fortunate to hold many rewarding roles over the years, but the past five-plus years as CIO have been among the most challenging, fulfilling, and enjoyable of my career. Together with talented colleagues and partners, we navigated change, embraced innovation, and delivered meaningful outcomes that will continue to support AGLC's success well into the future. The work was impactful, the challenges were inspiring, and every day presented new opportunities to learn and grow. While I am stepping away from the CIO role, I am pleased to continue supporting AGLC in an advisory capacity for a period of time, helping to bring a few key initiatives across the finish line. To everyone I had the privilege of working with over the past three decades…thank you. Your support, collaboration, and friendship have made this journey truly memorable. I look forward to this next stage and the opportunities it may bring.
