A HUGE thank you to Panago Pizza for helping fuel volunteer appreciation events across Alberta for National Volunteer Week last month! 🍕 From volunteers connecting between shifts to shared laughs around the pizza table, these moments remind us of what volunteering is about: connection, community, and showing up for one another. 💜 Volunteers keep our communities thriving, and we loved seeing people come together to celebrate that over a slice or two. As the Central Lions Seniors Association put it: "Nothing says thank you like a warm slice of pizza! Thank you Panago for feeding our fabulous folks!" On April 22, the association treated their volunteers to an appreciation luncheon, and Panago showed up to serve slices for everyone! When helping hands gather, good things happen. Two awards are presented in each of the following categories: ▪️ Youth (up to 24 years of age) ▪️ Adult ▪️ Senior The Breaking Barriers category honours volunteers who are working to build diverse and inclusive communities.
