Your buyers are researching you right now. Is your proof easy to find? Most B2B teams have strong customer stories, they're just: • Scattered across your website • Buried in a resource hub • Living on review sites you don't control One landing page fixes that. 🎯 Tas Bober's social proof page template helps you turn your strongest stories, customer quotes, and testimonials into a resource with the proof points your buyer needs to move forward. Use the template for free in Figma, or build it faster in Unbounce. 👉 Start building your social proof landing page today: https://bit.ly/4tQ6TVz

You're not imagining it. Sales and marketing misalignment is getting harder to fix—and the cost is real. Lost deals, inconsistent messaging, leads that go cold before anyone follows up. For most SMB GTM teams, misalignment isn't a rare blowup between departments. It's a slow, steady drain on pipeline, morale, and momentum. The culprit? Almost never the people. Almost always the systems holding them back: • Disconnected tools without shared visibility • Handoff processes that aren’t clearly defined (or enforced) • Goals that look aligned on paper but quietly pull teams in opposite directions We surveyed 500+ SMB GTM professionals to find out exactly where alignment breaks down—and what teams are doing to build it back up. You can have strong demand and still lose revenue. Not because your team isn't working hard enough. Not because the leads aren't there. Revenue leaks happen when hand-offs are messy, landing pages break buyer trust, and paid media testing stalls without a system. This month's Grow-to-Market newsletter covers: 🔷 Why lead hand-off is where revenue leaks start 🔶 4 landing pages every paid media team should build 🔷 How to create SaaS comparison pages buyers actually trust 🔶 Why founders should close their first 15–20 customers themselves 🔷 The CRM audit that catches problems before they compound Every step in the buyer journey should move buyers forward instead of making them work harder. That's how you turn demand into pipeline. Check out the April edition of Grow-to-Market below ⬇️

Would your comparison page hold up in the court of law? Would you swear an oath that it's the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? Buyers are the jury. You reek of bias, and they can smell the dishonesty. I always thought it was funny that we trust them to make 5- or 6-figure purchase decisions but also think they'll fall for our shady comparison charts. Our competitors suck! We do everything! Green check boxes for us, giant red X's for everyone! Then we dare to complain it isn't working. Time for a reframe. The comparison pages that actually convert should be built like guides, NOT pitches. Here's what that looks like: 1. Show them all the options, honestly Manual workflows. Stitched-together tools. Your solution and others like it. With actual pros and cons for each. Because this is how they're evaluating it anyway, you're just making it easier for them to understand their options. Buyers know the alternatives exist. Pretending they don't won't make them disappear. 2. Describe who each option is actually for Your competitors solve some use cases better than you do. Be explicit about those. Vidyard was a great example of this in their Loom comparison page: We are good if you need more robust workflows with video. Loom is great for internal communications and affordability. 3. Use real conversations to persuade them For one Infosec client, we changed the language on the comparison page to use what actually came up in sales calls or Reddit threads. Each section started with "...But doesn't [competitor] also do this?" Then we'd answer with "Yes, absolutely. Here's when [ICP] uses us vs them for this exact use case." Meetings booked went from 0.13% -> 3.63%. No joke. The difference between a comparison page that converts and one that doesn't is simply this: The converting one is written by someone who cares more about helping the buyer decide than closing the deal. A guide, not a seller (to quote April Dunford). I did a more detailed breakdown of comparison pages with Unbounce, and they put it together in a comprehensive article (one of the best I’ve seen). They also include my template for a Comparison landing page 👀 I'll throw it down in the comments, but DM me if you can't see it.

Driving traffic to your comparison page is one thing. Earning your buyer’s trust is another. Think about your own process when you’re evaluating software or making a case for a new tool internally. You can tell which resources will help you make a decision—and which ones will just push you toward one. Most B2B buyers feel the same way. They’re more skeptical, better informed, and less patient with comparison pages that feel biased, especially when budgets are tight, and every purchase decision is scrutinized. In our new blog post with Tas Bober, we cover: • why most comparison pages fall short • the different types of comparison pages and when to use them • what makes comparison content more useful and credible • examples of comparison content that will help you build better relationships with buyers Read the blog to start building comparison pages buyers can trust. LinkedIn leads are expensive—and if your strategy relies too heavily on demand capture, costs only go up. In this episode of Closing Time, Philip Ilic explains why LinkedIn works better as a content distribution platform, especially in the middle of the funnel. By investing in demand gen first, you: • build familiarity and trust • lower cost over time • improve ROAS across your campaigns That’s what turns LinkedIn from a lead gen channel into a true pipeline driver.
