Accessibility is a fundamental component of effective eLearning design. Ensuring course content is accessible makes it more functional and clear for all learners, regardless of their device or environment. Our latest post serves as a starting point for course authors to integrate these principles into their workflow. It covers essential foundations, including logical heading structures, color contrast, and screen reader compatibility. Converting Articulate Rise SCORM Packages Back to Source Files If you have worked with Articulate Rise, you know the challenge. It is a powerful cloud elearning based authoring tool, but your source files remain locked inside your account. There is no local backup and no easy way to migrate your content. Continued access depends on an active subscription. For many instructional designers and elearning developers, this is a real concern. I recently explored an interesting solution. Slatebuilder.io is an AI powered, component based authoring tool similar to Rise. It allows you to import a published Rise SCORM package, edit the content, add lessons, and effectively reconstruct the course into a new editable source format. 👉 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗶𝗳: ✅ You are migrating to another authoring tool ✅ A subscription has expired but you still have SCORM packages ✅ You need more flexibility with course ownership and backups In today’s competitive cloud authoring landscape, flexibility matters more than ever. Features like this are a big win for our instructional design and elearning development community. #instructionaldesign #elearningdevelopment #elearning #articulate360 #articulaterise #instructionaldesigner #elearningdeveloper #SCORM #slate #risesorucefile

We're in the final stages of testing our new Canva companion app for Slate. The Canva presentation -> Slate course experience is powered by Gemini on the backend, which we've been testing with the newly released Gemini 3.1 Pro model. We're optimistic about submitting this new app for review next week. You can sign up for a free Slate account today. #eLearning #InstructionalDesign #AIinLearning
Imagine turning a Canva presentation into a draft eLearning course in minutes. Our new Canva app does exactly that, converting your designs into course structure so you can focus on content and learner experience, not formatting. It's the same philosophy behind our Claude connector and ElevenLabs integration: meeting you where you already work, connecting with the tools you already know and love. Coming soon. This is a great resource for L&D-specific prompts. We use several Gemini models along with a chain of detailed, learning-specific prompts to power our in-app AI experiences. More complex tasks now use Gemini 3.1 Pro preview. We wrote a post about this to share some of the behind-the-scenes work: https://lnkd.in/er3tedgu #InstructionalDesign #AIinLearning #Gemini
