Not quite out of the woods yet but it is getting close. It has been an great few days with Mitch and Ammar at the SPE Hydraulic Fracturing Technical Section Conference and Exhibition. Being surrounded by the people leading innovation in hydraulic fracturing provided a lot of great energy (pun intended) and a few new insights to bring back to the Quickly office. A huge thank you to STEP Energy Services for the fantastic hospitality on the first night and for setting a great tone for the rest of the week - Dallas McCauley, Nathan Getschel, and Rory Thompson. It was also great to run into the team from Peloton. To be clear, this is the original Peloton and not the bike company, though a few miles on a bike might have been useful after this week. Jocelyn M., you were missed! Our cash giveaway was a massive hit on the floor, but the real winner might have been our Quickly hangover kits. After finding ourselves at Kirby’s Ice House most nights, it became clear that we knew exactly what the industry needed the next morning. While the technical sessions and collaborations were excellent, I am looking forward to heading home now. I am ready for some much needed time with my family after two back to back conferences.
