The celebrations of our inspiring Prodigy National Cup prize-winners continue! 🏆 Cascade Elementary School in Georgia was already a State Challenge champion from earlier in the year. This time they finished as runners-up in the Heroic Tier, with their students answering an incredible 196,119 math questions correctly. They won a $10,000 technology grant - plus Prodigy swag and memberships for students. But more than that, they unlocked a true love of learning and discovered what can happen when you turn math practice into a team sport.

What does it sound like when a group of math-loving students discover that their skills have helped their school win a $25,000 tech grant? It sounds like THIS class at New Century School in Minnesota - the winners of the Heroic Tier in the Prodigy National Cup! 🏆 Shelbi Pool, K-8 Director, said the result was a testament to the dedication and team spirit that ran through every corner of the school community. "We've always known our students are capable of remarkable things when they put their minds to it," said Ms. Shelbi. "But watching them rally together around this challenge — pushing each other, cheering each other on, and showing up every single day — was something truly special. This win belongs to all of them, and to every teacher and family member who encouraged them along the way." Congratulations to everyone involved! 🎉

🎉 1.1 MILLION questions answered in TWO WEEKS! 🤯 Congratulations to the students and staff at Medford Elementary School in Wisconsin - the overwhelming winners of the Prodigy National Cup Mythical Tier. And if you're wondering what winning this title - including a $50,000 tech grant for their school - meant to these students, just check out the announcement video below. 🥹 Scott Woller, a third-grade teacher at Medford, said it was a case of "unfinished business" after the school narrowly finished as runners-up in the national contest the previous year. "Our whole theme this year was 'together as one, we'll get this done.' We pushed the winners all the way last year, and this time we were determined to get the top spot. We had lots of students who were hugely motivated to go one better after last year. They really brought their A-games and showed that even a smaller school like Medford can accomplish amazing things when we pull together. We hope this win inspires others." Stay tuned for more heart-warming stories from this year's winners!

🗣️ "Can you imagine if all of the present-day learning games and apps were available when we were kids? Math certainly wouldn’t have seemed so scary." It's true. Game-based learning has been shown to improve student attitudes towards math practice. In the below Parents article, learning apps - including Prodigy - are cited for creating a "beneficial aspect of screen time." That's even more important at a time when less productive apps and games are competing for child attention. Dr. Joshua Prieur, Ed.D. of Prodigy Education, brought together three district leaders for a conversation that cut straight to the tension every education leader feels: how do you build meaningful, student-centered learning when the real world keeps getting in the way? Bill Bass, Parkway School District, MO, Michelle "Mikila" McCart Fetzer, Sacramento City Unified, CA, and Mathias Reynolds, Douglas County School District, CO, came with answers rooted in what's actually happening in their systems right now: budget cuts, initiative fatigue, screen time, and the constant pressure to keep students at the center of it all. This is what DLC is all about. #DistrictLeadersConnect #DLC2026 #K12 #K12Leadership #EdTech #EdTechEvents #ieifamily #Denver

Wondering how Prodigy can also be used by homeschoolers effectively? Wonder no longer. 👇 #homeschooltools #edtech #gamebasedlearning
We just launched a new homeschool day-in-the-life series at Modulo. For the first episode, I spoke with Paityn Babb, a homeschool parent in Arizona, and her 7-year-old daughter, Carver, about what it has looked like to move from school into homeschooling, figure out ESA funding, choose curriculum, and build a rhythm that actually works for their family. I’m especially interested in these honest, practical stories because homeschooling can look so different from the outside. It is easy to imagine either a perfect Pinterest classroom or total chaos, but most families are somewhere in the middle: experimenting, adjusting, learning what their child needs, and discovering that learning at home does not have to look like school. We talked about Arizona ESA funding, ClassWallet, workbooks, ADHD, math confidence, and how tools like Prodigy Education Homeschool Companion can fit into a family’s routine.
