Meet Ronnie. This is our Ronin 4D cinema camera, one of the most unique rigs in our studio kit. What makes it special is the built-in stabilization system. In addition to a traditional gimbal, it also adjusts vertically, so when you walk or run, the lens subtly moves to offset that motion. It even uses LiDAR to read the ground and maintain stability. We’ve put it to the test, and it’s incredibly reliable. We’ve used this on a range of projects, from helping share the World Juniors in Moncton and Halifax, to commercial shoots, to helping launch products around the world. It’s one of seven cameras in our studio here at Ginger, each playing a role in how we bring our clients’ stories to life.
