  • A logo helps people recognize you. A brand is the reason they remember you, trust you and choose you. Brand strategy sits at the heart of what we do every day at Ginger. Meaningful brands are built with intention, clarity and consistency long before the visuals are applied.

  • The Photo E(a)st Contemporary Photography Festival is coming to Fredericton on May 29/30/31. This is the only event of its kind in Atlantic Canada. As a professional arts organization ourselves, we are committed to supporting the arts and developing creative businesses in the communities we serve. Our team is proud to be a platinum sponsor and we encourage everyone to get out and support the arts whenever and wherever you can. See you at the event!

  • Meet Ronnie. This is our Ronin 4D cinema camera, one of the most unique rigs in our studio kit. What makes it special is the built-in stabilization system. In addition to a traditional gimbal, it also adjusts vertically, so when you walk or run, the lens subtly moves to offset that motion. It even uses LiDAR to read the ground and maintain stability. We’ve put it to the test, and it’s incredibly reliable. We’ve used this on a range of projects, from helping share the World Juniors in Moncton and Halifax, to commercial shoots, to helping launch products around the world. It’s one of seven cameras in our studio here at Ginger, each playing a role in how we bring our clients’ stories to life.

Three years ago tomorrow, I convinced the Beaverbrook Art Gallery to let us set up a drum kit in the middle of the gallery, and we proceeded to make a lot of noise. At the time, the Ginger Agency was just appointed the agency of record for SABIAN, and a documentary crew was coming to town to help tell the brand’s story. We were tasked with finding a way to take that story into the community. It needed something creative, cultural, and unexpected. Todd Sucherman, the legendary drummer from Styx, was in town for the documentary. We brought him into the gallery and paired him with the Wolastoqey drum group, the Muskrat Singers, for a live musical collaboration. I’ve always found it a beautiful coincidence that the SABIAN factory found its home on the same riverbanks where Indigenous drumming traditions have echoed through the valley for millennia. Maybe even as long as 12,000 years ago. It was special. The kind of moment you don’t get to witness every day, let alone inside a world-class art gallery. You can watch the documentary here: https://lnkd.in/e_vWubs2
