RFP life is basically controlled chaos. You open the folder and see: RFP_Final_v7 RFP_Final_v7_REAL RFP_Final_v7_REAL_USE_THIS RFP_Final_v7_REAL_USE_THIS_2 And somehow… none of them are the right one. 😅 Deadlines are “non-negotiable.” Reviews need “just one more pass.” And someone always has a “small tweak” at 4:57 PM. Proposal teams juggle drafting, compliance, pricing, formatting, executive reviews — all while the clock is sprinting toward submission. Even one last-minute change can derail timelines and trigger version chaos. And yet… we still hit submit. There’s something oddly heroic about proposal teams: Turning 150 pages of requirements into a story. Coordinating SMEs who are “just 5 minutes away” for 3 days. Catching a typo 4 seconds after pressing send. RFP life isn’t glamorous. But it’s where strategy, discipline, and caffeine meet.
