We’re proud to share that two Codan leaders have been recognised in the 2026 Defense News Tech Disruptors Index, a global acknowledgement of breakthrough technology delivering real operational impact. Dr Jack Sudarev, CTO at DTC | A Codan Company was recognised in Space, Geospatial and Resilient Communications for advancing secure, high-performance communications for defence and public safety customers. Codan has released its half year results for the period ended 31 December 2025, in line with the H1 FY26 Trading Update released on 9 January 2026.   Commenting on the results, our CEO & Managing Director Alfonzo Ianniello said: “Codan has delivered another strong financial result for the first half of FY26, with Group revenues growing 29% to $394 million, and both EBIT and NPAT up by more than 50% versus the first half of FY25. The Group’s performance reflects disciplined execution of our strategic plan, favourable market conditions in key regions, and the benefits of our diversified technology portfolio.   "Our Communications segment continues to deliver high-quality growth at the top end of our FY26 target range, while Metal Detection delivered exceptional performance, driven by gold detector demand in Africa and continued momentum across rest-of-world markets. Yalari is an Australian not-for-profit organisation that supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from regional and remote communities to access high-quality secondary education. This year, we've begun a new partnership with Yalari, committing to a six-year scholarship that will fund full tuition at a South Australian boarding school for one student. Beyond education, Yalari provides mentoring, wellbeing support and strong cultural connection, helping students thrive at school and beyond. Matthew Graham from our Zetron Brisbane team attend Yalari's Orientation Camp which marks the start of the Yalari journey for new students and allows supporters to gain a deeper understanding of the initiative. “The team running the program are incredibly passionate about making a difference for the next generation and changing the narrative around education in remote communities,” Matt said.
