We're so proud to be a growing part of the City of Salisbury, South Australia !🦾
We are proud to launch our bold 25-year Economic Development and Growth Strategy. The Strategy sets out a long-term blueprint, with a four-year action plan to increase productivity, enhance liveability, and drive prosperity across Salisbury and South Australia. Key outcomes include: • Unlocking more than 1,000 hectares of industrial and commercial land in the City of Salisbury to attract new businesses and support expansion. • Council development of 1,600 new homes over the next 25 years to accommodate a growing and diverse population. • Investing in precincts like Salisbury City Centre and Ingle Farm to create vibrant, mixed-use hubs where people can live, work and play. • Expanding Council’s award-winning Polaris Business Development Centre, which has already supported more than 15,000 businesspeople. • Working with City of Playford to establish an eco-industrial precinct to align with low carbon industry development. With a population of 150,000 and growing rapidly, Salisbury is the gateway of a booming northern corridor. Surrounding areas such as the City of Playford, Concordia, Roseworthy, Two Wells and the wider northern region are projected to add more than 186,000 new residents in coming years. As this growth accelerates, the economic opportunity is undeniable – with more than 37,000 jobs to be created in the region. Already home to seven global defence firms including BAE Systems, Raytheon, Saab and Lockheed Martin, as well as industry icons such as Bickford’s, Haigh’s, Mayne Pharma, SA Produce Market and R.M. Williams - soon expanding its operations locally - Salisbury is positioned as an economic powerhouse in South Australia.
