EUROAVIA Leuven Fly-In 2025 A Week to Remember ✨ The EUROAVIA Leuven Fly-In was an unforgettable week filled with innovation, learning, culture, and fun! 🚀 We kicked things off with a fascinating visit to Space Applications Services NV/SA, where we explored the future of space technology. Afterwards, we headed to TUI at Brussels Airport in Zaventem for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of their aviation operations. Midweek brought a unique opportunity to visit the European Commission and the European Parliament in Brussels, where we gained insights into European policymaking especially on topics related to aerospace and innovation. The day continued with more great moments exploring the capital and enjoying each other's company. The academic component of the week continued with a morning lecture at Antwerp Management School, offering fresh perspectives on leadership and technology. This was followed by an exciting dive into the future of aerial mobility at droneport.eu. In the evening, Spirit Night brought everyone together for a celebration of friendship and diversity a joyful exchange of traditions and a real chance to learn about each other’s cultures. 🎉 To conclude, we tasted Leuven’s rich heritage during a tour of the legendary Stella Artois brewery at AB InBev, toasting to an incredible week in our beautiful student city. 🌟 We wrapped it all up with a warm and elegant Final Dinner, reflecting on everything we experienced and celebrating the strong bonds we created throughout the week. 💙 A big thank you to all participants, partners, and volunteers you made this Fly-In truly special!

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from EUROAVIA Leuven to Space Applications Services NV/SA for a visit of our offices, laboratories, and integration hall. They had the opportunity to discover several of our key projects, including: 🌕 our lunar exploration rover LUVMI-M, 🛰️ our mobile gravity off-loading system MOGOS, 🤖 and our robotic interface mechanism HOTDOCK. Euroavia Leuven is a vibrant student association that brings together young minds passionate about aerospace and space exploration. Beyond the technical demonstrations, we had inspiring conversations about the current state of the space industry, its challenges, and the opportunities ahead. 👉 If you're a student looking for hands-on experience in the space sector, we offer a wide range of internships throughout the year. Check out our open positions here: https://lnkd.in/eDSVrf9H Thank you to for the visit and for the engaging exchange!

Today, we kicked off our partnership with EUROAVIA Leuven. EUROAVIA is a non-profit, student-led organization founded in 1959. It acts as a bridge between universities and the aerospace industry across Europe. As they are currently hosting a conference in Belgium for 24 students from across Europe, visiting key aviation players in the region, we were given the opportunity to inspire these future leaders. Prof. Sven Buyle introduced them to the industry #value #chain and program manager Thomas M. explained what our 1-year advanced masters program in #air transport management, hosted by Antwerp Management School, could offer them. Credits to Jorre Jennis and Lars Verboven for organizing and to our recruitment manager Julie Hillewaert for initiating the partnership!
