Last Friday, our COO, Joel Steers, took the stage at the National Employment Services Association AI Summit, joining an industry panel on where AI can realistically add value in employment services — now and into the future. Alongside Chris Smith from ReadyTech and Balendran Thavarajah at Getmee AI, the discussion focused on what’s working today — lifting staff productivity and automating back‑end processes. It also highlighted the importance of strong governance and human oversight as AI scales across the employment services sector. Thanks to NESA for hosting a thoughtful, future‑focused discussion on AI adoption across the sector.

AI is moving fast, but in human services, how it is adopted matters just as much as speed. That is why the opening conversation at the NESA AI Summit is timely. Professor Toby Walsh will challenge the sector to think critically about what responsible, human‑centred AI should look like, and what is at risk if it is not done well. Later in the day, our COO Joel Steers, will join an industry panel with ReadyTech and GetMee AI to move the discussion into practical application. The panel will focus on where AI is delivering value today, what is scalable, and how organisations can progress with confidence, governance and purpose. 📍 NESA 2026 AI Summit | Sydney | 20 March
We are thrilled to announced that Professor Toby Walsh FAA FTSE FRSN, one of the world’s leading AI experts from the University of New South Wales, will be joining us live from Europe to open NESA’s AI Summit on Friday 20 March in Sydney. He’ll be joining us for a ‘fireside chat’ about ‘Responsible intelligence in Human Services – what that should look like’. AI is transforming every industry – but what should responsible, human-centred and ethical AI look like in the employment services sector? And what opportunities are missing if we don’t move fast…and move smart? Professor Walsh is internationally recognised for challenging the status quo and pushing us to think critically about how AI should shape our future. This conversation will be provocative, timely and essential for anyone working in or alongside employment services. If you haven’t registered – there is still time. Register now and secure your spot for this not-to-be missed Summit. https://lnkd.in/gGyuZMTE View the event program: https://lnkd.in/gwqxXf4f #AI #Reform #NESA #NationalEmploymentServicesAssociation #NESAEvents #AISummit

30 years of commitment deserves something truly special. To mark three decades with MicrotechDPS, we wanted to thank our sales guru and golf enthusiast, Bill Hunt, with an experience as exceptional as his contribution — a two‑day stay at the Cathedral Golf Course. Hosted by member James Kerr, the experience reflected everything the course is known for: world‑class design, privacy and attention to detail. It’s an exclusive destination and a fitting way to recognise an extraordinary milestone. Bill, thank you for 30 years of dedication, expertise and impact. We’re proud of the role you’ve played in shaping our client partnerships and grateful to have you as part of the MicrotechDPS team.
