Cookies

The Userfeel website uses cookies, which are small text files stored on a computer system through an internet browser. Cookies enable Userfeel to provide visitors with a more user-friendly experience and services that would not be possible without them.

The data subject may, at any time, prevent the setting of cookies through our website by means of a corresponding setting of the Internet browser used, and may thus permanently deny the setting of cookies. Furthermore, already set cookies may be deleted at any time via an Internet browser or other software programs. This is possible in all popular Internet browsers. If the data subject deactivates the setting of cookies in the Internet browser used, not all functions of our website may be entirely usable.

You may choose to disable cookies at any time by adjusting the settings of your internet browser, thereby permanently preventing cookies from being stored. In addition, cookies that have already been set can be deleted at any time through your browser or other software tools. These options are available in all major internet browsers. Please note, however, that if you disable cookies, certain features and functions of our website may not operate as intended.

Collection of General Data and Information

When a user or automated system accesses the Userfeel website, a series of general data and information is collected and stored in the server log files. This may include:

Newsletter Subscription and Contact Forms

On the Userfeel website, users may register for our newsletter, sign up as a client, or register as a tester. Additionally, users can contact us through the contact form or request content via online forms. In these cases, the user's email address, name, IP address, and the date and time of submission are securely stored on our server. Our newsletter services are managed through our partner, Brevo. Registered users will begin receiving newsletters and training emails, with the option to unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link provided in each email.

These newsletters and training emails may contain tracking pixels, which enable statistical analysis of their effectiveness. Tracking pixels allow Userfeel to determine whether an email has been opened and if any embedded links have been clicked.

Blog Comments

Users of our website have the option to post comments on our blog. When doing so, their email address, name, IP address, and the date and time of submission are stored on our server. If another user replies to their comment, they will receive an email notification, allowing them to respond promptly.

CV Submission and Candidates Evaluation

If you choose to submit your CV to work with us, you may be asked to provide personal details such as your date of birth, place of residence, personal interests, work experience, education, and other relevant information. This data will be stored on our server and may be shared with third parties where necessary for recruitment or collaboration purposes.

User Rights

Users of the Userfeel website have the right to request an electronic copy of the personal data we store about them, or to request the deletion of their data, by contacting us at info@userfeel.com. Such requests will be processed promptly. Please note, however, that certain data must be retained where required by law or tax authorities. For example, invoicing records must be preserved for tax compliance purposes.

Personal Data for the fulfillment of our services

If you use the "Upload to YouTube" feature, your usability test video will be uploaded directly to your YouTube account as an unlisted video. For this purpose only, your data is shared with YouTube. Userfeel does not gain any additional access to your YouTube account.

Statistic Analysis

Behavioral data such as pages visited, time spent on pages, referral sources, and visit frequency may be collected through third-party services like Google Analytics. This information is used to improve our marketing efforts and website performance. All collected data is anonymized and not personally identifiable. These third-party services may use cookies to provide their analytics.

Remarketing

For advertising purposes, visitor data may be shared with advertising networks such as Google and Facebook, enabling us to display banner and text advertisements across third-party websites.

Data Storage

All Userfeel data is stored within the European Union. (1) User data, including projects, tests, and test sessions, is retained until a tester requests account deletion. (2) Video files are retained for as long as the client's subscription plan allows, or until the client requests deletion.

Testers

When registering as a tester, you may be asked to provide personal information such as your name, email address, date of birth, interests, annual household income, and other demographic details. This data allows us to match you with test requests from clients seeking specific demographic profiles. Your data remains stored on our servers until you request account deletion.

When a client requests testers matching your profile, you will be notified by email and can choose to accept or ignore the test invitation. You may also disable email notifications within your profile settings.

WWhen taking a test, your device screen (computer, mobile, or tablet) and microphone will be recorded. The resulting video is stored on our server and shared with the client who ordered the test. Clients may use these videos at their discretion. Therefore, testers are advised to ensure that no personal content (such as emails, applications, or sensitive information) appears on their screen during the session. If a test requires registration, you may use fictitious data if you prefer not to share your personal information in the recording.

External Testers

If you are not a registered tester but are invited by a client to participate in a test, you will be asked to provide your email address before beginning. Your device screen and microphone will be recorded, and the video will be stored on our server and shared with the client. As with registered testers, clients may use these recordings at their discretion, so we recommend ensuring no personal information is visible during the test. If a test requires registration, you may use fictitious data if desired.

Clients

When registering as a client, you may be asked to provide personal details such as your name, email address, company affiliation, and phone number. This data is stored on the Userfeel server until you request deletion.

After registration, you will receive training emails and newsletters, from which you can unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in each email.

Userfeel is developed and supported by Netstudio EE, located at 53 Trapezountos St., 14565 Agios Stefanos, Greece. As part of this arrangement, employees of Netstudio have access to Userfeel's servers and data for development and support purposes.
