Every time when i update the apps the app settings are goes to default settings , every time i need to change the settings after the apps update. It's waste of time to do the settings e ery time after the update.

The 9a had the Exynos 5300t modem, while the 10a has the Exynos 5400 one. Best adivce is to purchase the 10a from a retailer with good return policy. You can test it and, if it's not dual-band, just return it.

Compared to my poco f6 and even an old moto G85, the camera and screen are a bit shit
The phone is overpriced by about $250
The pixel 10 and 10pro and perhaps the iphone 17/17e are better
However as the meme goes "this (poco, iphone, etc) is brilliant but i like this"
The pixel 10a is nice to use and looking at does not make me feel miserable about my life the way some older iphone pro/pro Max would have made me feel, similar to the new a series from samsung which have excellent design that will make you feel happy but the features are shit
Excellent ingress protection and gorilla glass and the brand name means they are not likely to lie about whether the thing will survive a storm or moisture or dust or a monsoon

Why is no one commenting on the manual brightness issues with this phone? If I set it on manual brightness at 50% then go outside in the sun it automatically dims to the point I can't see the screen. It works fine on auto brightness getting brighter outdoors and dimming when inside but surely turning off auto brightness should mean you can manually adjust the brightness to wherever you choose and it should stay there till you choose to adjust it again? I've looked on forums and sites to see if anyone else has encountered this but can't seem to get a straightforward answer. Some say it's a Google safeguard to prevent overheating or burn in or save battery and can't be overridden others say it's an oled thing that you can't change but surely manual means you choose the settings or what's the point in having a manual setting? If anyone has a clear answer to this it would be greatly appreciated thanks 👍

So the idea of getting anything made by them that cannot be rooted immediately, and I do mean more than a simple custom ROM - bootloader unlock✓ SU binary ✓ Full access to your own phone not just a partition. Forget about the bloat from OEM and carrier, I'm talking about

Does anyone else have problems with the screen going dark in the sun when set on manual brightness? It's fine on auto brightness getting brighter outdoors and dimming when in a darker environment but if I set it on 50% brightness manually and go in the sun it dims to the point I can't see it unless i use the manual slider. I've looked on chats and forums and some folks say it's an oled thing to prevent overheating or burn in and some say it's a Google thing. Any answers be greatly appreciated thanks 👍
