X Online services Mobile software

X Money was supposed to launch last year - back in January that was the plan anyway. Obviously, that didn't happen. But it has finally launched today in the US for those who have a Premium or Premium+ X subscription.

With X Money, you get a custom metal Visa debit card with free global ATM withdrawals and no foreign transaction fees, an up to 6% APY, free and instant transfers to other X Money users, 3% cashback on eligible purchases made with the X card, support for wire transfers and checks, as well as passkey authentication.

You can set custom limits and require authentication for certain transactions, and every card transaction is protected by Visa's security and risk management tools. Deposit accounts are held at Cross River Bank, an FDIC member, and insured up to $250,000.

This is the latest step in Elon Musk’s quest to make X a super app. Real money was a big missing piece of the puzzle, and now it's there - at least for Premium and Premium+ subscribers in the US.
