Xiaomi Android Rumors

The Xiaomi 17T was recently certified in Brazil, and it's also been spotted in the Geekbench database. Today a new leak purports to bring us its full specs - as well as those of the 17T Pro. So buckle up, as this is a big one.

The Xiaomi 17T is said to have a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with 1268x2756 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra SoC at the helm, 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 256/512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, and a 6,500 mAh battery with support for 67W fast wired charging.

On the rear there's a triple camera system with a 50MP main camera using the Light Fusion 800 sensor with f/1.77 aperture, a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and f/1.8 aperture, and a 12MP ultrawide camera with f/2.2 aperture. For selfies there's a 32MP snapper.

The phone measures 157.6 x 75.2 x 8.17 mm and weighs exactly 200g. It will be offered in blue, black, and purple. It will run Android 16 with HyperOS 3 on top. It's rumored to cost €749 with 256GB of storage.

The Xiaomi 17T Pro has a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen with 1280x2772 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, the Dimensity 9500 SoC at the helm, 12GB of RAM, 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, and a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The camera system comprises a 50MP main shooter using the Light Fusion 950 sensor with f/1.74 aperture, a 50MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom and f/1.8 aperture, a 12MP ultrawide with f/2.2 aperture, and a 32MP selfie camera. Thus, the only camera upgrade for the Pro seems to be the main one.

The Xiaomi 17T Pro measures 162.2 x 77.5 x 8.25 mm and weighs 219g. It too runs Android 16 with HyperOS 3 on top. The color options are the same as for the non-Pro device: blue, black, and purple. This device will allegedly cost €999.

The T series used to be Xiaomi's flagship-killer-of-sorts line, but with these prices it's moving very much into the premium high-end space (the Pro in particular). For what it's worth, both the 17T and the 17T Pro are €100 more expensive than the 15T and 15T Pro were when they launched last year, if this rumor is accurate, of course. The 17T and 17T Pro may become official as early as next month, according to some previous rumors.

The X8 pro max gets the processor from the 750 Xiaomi 17T, not the pro. Still odd though.
