vivo has officially confirmed that its X500 series will launch in September. The upcoming lineup will succeed the vivo X300 series and will include the vivo X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max.

In a post on Weibo, vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao also revealed key details about the upcoming phones. The new lineup is said to bring cinema-grade video recording capabilities.

According to the executive, the vivo X500 Pro models will feature a “ZEISS Ultra Dynamic Main Camera” built around a custom Phantom 900 sensor developed by Sony and vivo’s Blueprint imaging team.

The sensor is claimed to offer a 17EV dynamic range, while supporting 4K 240fps slow-motion and 4K 120fps HDR video recording.

The executive further revealed that the vivo X500 Pro Max’s main rear camera will support 3° optical image stabilisation. The phones are also said to offer CIPA 7.0 professional-grade stabilisation.

Beyond the video upgrades, the vivo X500 series will also bring improvements to photography, performance, OS, and the display. We expect vivo to share more details about the lineup in the coming days.

Brother, Vivo V series is coming to Bangladesh as Chinese variant. I myself use Vivo Chinese variant phone🫡 Are you trying to imply that Vivo phones are made in China but that phone is not available in China?😃

200MP where, on ultrawide?? Why would you need that? The benefit of high resolution is to have cropping power (in good light), but why would you crop from ultrawide lol?

The V series is not available in China because it is tge S series over there. Tetraphobia, or a fear of the number four, is most prominent in southeast Asia where the S series is more prominent.
