Recently bought from tesco a TCL k70phone.. returned to shop as taking over 5 hours to charge.. Was told probably plug.. bought a New fast charge one..no difference! Returned again.. And Was told cable included with the phone wouldn't accept fast charging.. what Was the point including a cable that doesn't work!.. contacted TCL.. said Case pending!🤔

I was transiting through an airport where I consequently dropped and broke my new phone, so as a holiday stopgap I wasn't going to pay a lot for a new phone, I saw this on sale and picked it up, didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised I picked up the 8gb model and it didn't miss a beat on holiday.
The UI seems fluid enough didn't encounter much lag at all and the battery is solid
Display is nice
Onboard storage is sufficient
Speakers are loud
Build of phone is sturdy back texture nice
Charging speed of 33w sufficient
Boxed with charger and case
At this very moment I don't feel the need to change it as it's doing the job for me.

If anybody from TCL somehow reads the comments here (lol):
TCL, stop working on and producing e-waste like K70 (Power).
TCL should focus on their main unique offer - Nxtpaper screens.
Improve the following in the Nxtpaper phones:
1. specs
(Snap, bigger batteries, more RAM, UFS 3+, SD slot, 3.5 mm jack, Ultra-mini with a smaller screen)
2. never stop improving the Nxtpaper screens in terms of eye health
(get rid of temporal dithering in Color Paper mode, blurry text/polarization issues etc.)

I saw the TCL Nxtpaper 70 pro yesterday and I thought that TCL finally learned from their mistakes, then they go right back to dropping e waste 💔💔 Slapped a Chinese 6500mah Battery in there and called it a day
