Still no Android 15... it seems 5G variant got it early this year but this one got March 26 security update last month. If next update isn't Android 15, it's not coming at all and TCL has broken their promise and that would mean that this will be my last TCL phone.

God one. For its price Very Very good. Specially as a reserve one. I have about 18 months "samsung fe 5g 6/128" for 340eur, and this "tcl 50 se 6(?)/256" for 100eur. And that combination is good for me. It is cheaper 3.5 times in compare with s21 fe, and it do things in about 80 % like s21 fe. Very good job is tcl 50 se. Good charger and earphones in its package.

New system update is up... haven't installed it yet but it's 1,5 GB in size... i doubt it's Android 15 yet, TCL can't be that fast 😄

Ican anyone help me asi be very grateful,
After using a Samsung galaxy phone for years and don't know much about about TCL phone's.
I bought this phone in March and after setting it up it said this phone wasn't updated in 20 months, the only update I got was Google play system update was for the 1st of March and 2 nights ago I got this month's update for Google but when I check my security update it's says my phone is up to date but it says the last update was the 5th of August 2024,,is is ok or should I have gotten an update by now as with my other phones in the pads I always had to do a security update as well as a Google play system update after setting it u.

I don't have this problem that you said, the programs open quickly. Since I bought the phone, I received an update once, and then the phone update became much smoother and I reduced the animation scale settings.

I just got this phone and it’s slow in the system menus and Home Screen: screen is amazing but it’s very slow to open apps. Everything takes about 2 seconds to do. Apps feel fine when they are opened but everything else is laggy even with 90hz.
