The phone phone is very nice but in term of battery doesn't make it a day
I saw this phone & bought it because I like Japanese phones. Here's my verdict.
Pros:
Display - It's very saturated & vibrant. The colors are not picture accurate though. Think old Samsung AMOLED screen phones.
Performance - It's fine for day-to-day use. I haven't noticed any lags with app switching & such. 120 Hz IGZO display is smooth & responsive.
Camera - It takes pretty good photos in daytime & decent photos in low-light. Ultrawide is not good though.
Build-quality - It's decent-looking & seems very sturdy. Though not very stylish.
Cons:
Battery - Even though it's 5050mAh, it acts more like 3500mAh. If you're a heavy user like me, you'll barely make it a day. Screen-on time while watching HD internet videos is around 5 hours, which is far less than what it should be.
OS Updates - It doesn't go beyond Android 13, which is only 1 OS update.
GPU - Gamers stay away as this chipset is not for gaming.
Others - Screen has ghosting issue, as in sometimes some faint icons remain on the screen as if they're burned in, but they go away soon. They're not permanent.
Overall: It's a decent phone if you want something different & you don't want to play games. But it has it's shortcomings & isn't a top recommendation. Feel free to ask any questions if you have.

Yes, Language can be switched to English during setup, not an issue. I am using Sharp Aquos sense5G in English language without any issue.
This is a question to anyone who has used this device. I take it it was released in Japan only, so all units are set in Japanese. Is it possible to switch to English in the language settings?
I'm thinking of importing this through Ebay, where all of the sellers are located in Japan. But that would be a big mistake if English is not an option.

It's something called black frame insertion (BFI). I don't know much about this tech, but according to Sharp it'll made the 120hz display look even smoother. Had no idea why they marketed it as 240hz.
I've made an experiment using my Aquos Zero2 where I recorded the display using slow-mo camera. In "240hz" mode (called high response mode) there's a visible difference compared to basic 120hz mode where you can actually see the black frames.
Big chin in 2023?

The back design reminds me the Lumia
