I've been using this tab for a while and I gotta say it's the first product I've come across I can truly say and agree it has a “Gorgeous“ display. Even now the 120 hz oled screen is just so good.

Anonymous, 03 Dec 2025Is it worth buying it in 2025Yes, but keep in mind that however great the user experience is, it is a product towards the end of its support cycle. For example, I think that One 8.5 is probably the last big update it will get.
That being said, I have it since day 1 and if you are ok with the size and weight it's a delight to use.

I can be on it on and off working on digital art and it'll last the day with full on display lighting and pen input. For reading, internet and watching videos

SCT, 18 May 2025Yes....... for Tab S8 Ultra. smooth / New Features ....... Looking Grate That's good. My tab s9 ultra also got the 7.0 update. But I'm having battery draining issues since update. Haven't checked s8 ultra. Hope samsung send a fix for this.

So, got htis from eBay, in pristine conditions, 12/256 version at $379. I come from a A9+, which all thing considered was not a bad tablet, so I was properly blown away by this monster! Peformance (even after 3 years) is stellar for my usage. Battery life seems to be fine, considering itś a used device. Battery monitoring apps rate the battery at about 92% capacity, and since I always use it in my house, there is always a power brick ready. Perhaps the only thing I dont like so far is that I can only do 4K 30Hz when connecting to an external monitor (TV, actually) via HDMI using a USB-C to HDMI hub. I'll probably try to get a Dex station for a phone, with a usb c female to male cable, and see if that helps things out, itś supposed to be good for 4K 60 Hz. Appart from that, there's nothing about the S8 Ultra that does not meets or exceeds my expectations. I got the logitech keyboard with the tablet craddle and numeric keypad, and along with a BT mouse, this has become my only computing device (for personal usage, I use a different device for work). All in all, amazing tablet!
