They CAN come with 1TB of storage, but if you keep your phone for a long period of time you have to predict your future needs. If they had mem slots, you could buy what you need now and a bit more, and if its ever not enough you can upgrade without a new device. You can also save money by buying a micro SD card off the start and not paying markup on the storage.

But the recent EU law may bring back the memory slots on phones if they want to sell to EU market. Worldwide release may also have the memory slots as it is not efficient manufacturing-wise to have different production machineries for the same phones with different hardware design.

If someone still needs more than that, they're part of a niche, not the mainstream. At that point, external storage is the way to go.

IKEA has been proving its best in design and value all over the world. I know IKEA products are more expensive than similar products, so I'm waiting for a car by IKEA.
