Go to phone memory - android - media - com.whatsapp - whatsapp - databases folder. Copy the recent (see the date and time) backup file to other source. Copy back to the same folder after reinstalling the safe version.

Guys is there anymody here to help me with whatsapp? Yesterday I installed it's latest update and slept without opening whatsapp. Today morning whatsapp keeps crashing and my phone says there is a bug u need to wait for the next update. I uninstalled whatsapp and now it is refusing to install again.

A55 it's my second, it's like reserved phone which right now stand in table and i only charging it everyday and most don't use it at all. Retired for my biggest use.
