Samsung Galaxy A37 – Summary
The Galaxy A37 is a badly priced phone offering outdated specifications. It uses the Exynos 1480 chipset from early 2024, which suffers from overheating, poor 5G modem performance, battery drain, and lag in everyday tasks.
The removal of the microSD slot has been met with near-universal condemnation. For years, expandable storage was the defining feature of Samsung's A-series. Without it, users are forced to pay expensive internal storage upgrades or rely on cloud subscriptions.
The price is delusional. The A37 launches at the same price point previously reserved for the A56, despite offering no major improvements. The phone is essentially a rebranded Galaxy A55 with a slightly larger screen and marginally faster charging.
The competition offers far better value. Realme, Poco, Redmi, and even Samsung's own discounted A55 and A56 are superior choices at lower prices. A used S23 Ultra delivers flagship performance for the same money.
The only genuine strengths are six years of software updates, decent build quality, and the trusted Samsung brand name. But these do not justify the price.
Recommendation: Do not buy at launch. Wait for a 20-30% price drop, buy an A55 or A56 instead, or switch to a competitor.

Would've been way better if it switched to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 whilst keeping the same price. The A37 fits the A27 more than the A37 does.

The price has increased a lot, but no major change in the features. Even the processor is 2 generations old. I'm not sure why they are raising the price by such a huge margin? I can understand a small increment, but this is now the same price as what the A56 used to cost.
