Would it really be so bad if all the OEM's said "right, there is some shortage with key components in 2026 due to AI, let's release our next phone in 2028". That gives them time to develop some actual improvements and offer a real upgrade.

These prices are too high, they all cry about chip prices but it's not not that, they pay influencers hell lot of money to hype the trash products. Just be more reasonable with prices.

In the UK the Poco X8 Max Plus with double the memory and storage and bigger battery and faster charging is...
£50 less.
You would have to not know about the Poco to buy the A37 instead. I guess a lot of people just gave Samsung or Apple on their radar and do not shop further afield through ignorance.

That doesn't make sense. If it has the s... moreAlso very likely the ram plus bs which causes stuttering and lags. I had an A35 6/128 with lpddr 4 and ufs 2.2 storage, first thing I did was turn off ram plus and the phone was beautifully smooth with no stutters and rarely any lag.
This A37 with lppdr5x and ufs 3.1 storage with a faster chip really shouldn't stutter.
