expect them to become an india-only brand within a couple years at most.I expect them to be shutdown for good.
That's fine. More market share for xiaomi
""The Nord 6 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. This is easily the most powerful chip available in this price range and by a country mile.""
True, but there are cheaper phones with the same hardware combo, I think the final phone price matters more to the end user, than the chip price.
Check 2 of them compared here:- https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=13951&idPhone2=13904&idPhone3=14558
Yep, it's like many people here buy a processor with a battery, overlooking many important details
Seriously, Nord 4 camera design...? Looks awful, the same with oneplus 13 and all other before that. The only reason I had never looked to any oneplus phones before.

It's a hands on review. Meaning they dont have the unit in for testing. How they gonna review the battery of a phone they're using for 1 hour
This website is slowly becoming trash.
Now can't even make battery test for one of the most popular mid rangers in the future.
Bye bye GSMArena.

This looks like a generic Oppo phone and has poor speakers, extremely unreliable white balance from the main camera, and a downgraded selfie camera. Who knows what the haptics are like, as they're never discussed in reviews.
As someone who is currently using a nord 5 I would say that don't touch these third grade phones with a barge pole. The only thing they offer is a huge battery so that you can remain glued to the screen and overlook all the basics of a device. Third class cameras, poor displays (calibration), poor vibration, a god awful skin that oxygen os and what not.

for further review data, i think you guys should include how many Wh a phone charged in 15/30/1hr (you can just use a logging usb-c adapter, plenty of those on aliexpress). i genuinely think it would add a lot to the review, instead of just "63% at 30mins" since that just makes big batteries look bad.

Why does GSMArena skip the battery test that matters a lot, especially when you had the phone in for a review over the entire weekend? You must realise that people look for Battery endurance as an important factor to make a purchase decision. It indeed will trump most of the flagships, but we all know that every flagship phone any company is making is disposable; long battery capacity will not burn the charging cycles as compared to phones that need charging daily.
I don't understand what OnePlus is doing anymore. They had a 1/2" sensor on the Nord, then they upgraded to a 1/1.56" on the Nord 2 and Nord 3. The Nord 4 went back to a 1/1.95" sensor, then OnePlus upgraded to a 1/1.56" sensor with last year's Nord 5. This time, we're back to a 1/1.95" sensor on the Nord 6. What will they do next year, I wonder?
Would be nice to see a higher res UW camera in the future. Also, 217 g is a bit too heavy. A 7500 mAh battery would have been enough, I dare say. Would trade those 1500 mAh for a 13 MP UW and an 8 MP 3x tele. Would probably make for the perfect phone.
