Zack, 26 Apr 2026Over price Yeah, but discounts are quite common for Sammy. Saw the 8/256 GB down to ~ $ 450, which is pretty good. They're always expensive within the first month of launch. I'm guesstimating that before summer ends, you can get the 8/256 for ~ $ 400. Just wished for better camera performance - it's 95% the same quality as A56.

After I bought a redmi note 14 pro plus last year, every Samsung mid ranger looked mediocre by comparison. .... Screen, camera, processor, design, everything way superior. Xiaomi gives great specs in mid range and then superb specs in flagships ....... It is pure greed preventing Samsung from doing this.

If someone read your conclusion taking it at face value WITHOUT reading the specs and to them most important parts of the review or perhaps the entire review,one could find 4.0/5 score strange.
The way you desribed it is more like 3.5 or 3.2/10.

Most of the Li-ion batteries breakdown to 80% capacity by 800-1000 cycles max. Pixels are even worse (around 600).
Si-C on the other hand is degrading to 80% capacity. after 1200-1800 cycles.
Most of them are averaging above 1500 cycles.
Add to that bigger capacity to start with, which means Chinese phones with Si-C are completing their cycle slower compared to Apple/Samsung.
Don't forget bypass charging feature, which is absent on brands like Apple. This further helps prevent excessive consumption of charge cycles.

it has the performance of an edge 60 pro but with worse battery and cameras performance for 150 bucks more. doesnt even include a charger, so lame.
