I love mine,no problem with Exynos. One Ui 8.5 is excellent. It also takes excellent photos day and night.
I traded my motorola razr 50 ultra for this one in the local store... the trade cost me 410€ for S26 and watch 8.

> Yes both the S26 & 26+ reviews are exynos for sure, they might get a snapdragon unit to compare later, but there's alot of other phones coming in to review.

> This unit like most S26 & S26+ around the World uses the Exynos 2600.
Only the US, China & Japan get the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 which is slightly better in performance, but it's also about 8% better in efficiency.
Was the battery tests made with a exynos or a snapdragon?
The Xiaomi 17 makes this pretty much useless. Not to mention that the 15 does as well, at a now much cheaper price.
This is a Galaxy A58. Someone messed up the numbers and now they just go along with it
joe nodden, 18 Mar 2026DOA batteryIn what world? The X300 should beat it with ease, yet it can't charge the battery faster despite the almost 4x charging speed with just 50% more battery capacity. The battery life on that thing also isn't any better, straight up trading blows against the S26 that should be handicapped pretty hard. It's a different story for the Xiaomi 17, but I think plenty of people would still rather get the Samsung simply because of the superior software\ OS experience
Anonymous, 17 Mar 2026Looks like they have killed off s26. No noticeable changes in 5 years other than UI. Not everyone wants the ultra. Many people want the size of the s26 base. Not sure why Samsung has not release a s26 pro version.
I bought my mother the 6.3" Galaxy S26 to replace her year old 6.2" Galaxy S25 and she really likes this new phone.

We wanted to buy a new compact phone, unfortunately Samsung made the opposite.
A bigger phone, 1mm wider, this isn't pleasant for younger and little / smaller people!
Our hands isn't able to hold it firmly!!!
What we also miss:
- Bigger battery
- faster charging
- privacy screen
- keep the basic camera but at least provide us the USP of a "S" line phone with the Ultrawide and periscope lens of the s26 ultra!
- 50 MP, f/2.9, 111mm (periscope telephoto), 1/2.52", 0.7µm, PDAF, OIS, 5x optical zoom
- 50 MP, f/1.9, 120˚ (ultrawide), 1/2.5", 0.7µm, dual pixel PDAF, Super Steady video
Looks like we, in Europe, need to buy Chinese products or American
Oneplus 15t or Google pixel 10 pro if not these 2 than the pixel 11 pro
You missed a chance, where everyone is thinking bigger is better. Our joints, cartilage, ligaments are being put under stress and damaged in the long run by having bigger phones
Remember the Samsung s10e, apple 12/3mini + SE 2022, Xperia 5/10 models
MAKE THESE SIZES For people between 140-175 cm THESE ARE smartphones between 63-69mm and have the most ergonomically width!
But improve the UNIQUE SELLING POINT of
- Bigger battery
- faster charging
- privacy screen
- improved camera (Ultrawide and periscope telephoto)
In this way content creators, Travellers, vloggers, landscapers and engineers but also businesses people will buy these phones faster. Ergonomics and efficient+effectively 2 use
