Mcak, 10 Mar 2026It infuriates me that these things will sell and Samsung will still not change anything next year. And expect that Samsung will not change anything maybe even in the next 3 years. I have a 2023 midranger and these ridiculously-priced Samsung 2026 "flagships" are still yet to catch up of my phone's specs. Yikes!

70-80% sustained performance over an entire hour is like, back into before the sd888, when flagship chips used to have performance

Base S26 is in for a hell with the Elite Gen 5 chip, Exynos 2600 will do wonders for it.

Great battery life, performance is a bit worse but actually still great, solid CPU performance when it comes to throttling.
I guess this is the better phone then, proves even more that absurdly high clock speeds of the EliteGen5 hurt it more than help it, especially with throttling.

If so, amazing that for the performance it has, the CPU has pretty solid performance compared to how terrible S26U is.
