One thing about matepad pro having used for over 2 years is that it is absolutely unnecessary. Edge browser have a edge (pun intended) over chrome and vividla is my daily driver. Youtube app is an important asset for phones, but browser based is good enough for tablets.
The only thing that I think is lacking are imaging software such as light room or photoshop. No, davinci resolve sucks on iPad, so it doesn't count.

In my country, this tablet in 8/128 configuration is being sold with the bundled smart magnetic keyboard for the equivalent of $659. That is $140 less than the 11" Samsung Tab S8 with the same configuration without the keyboard, and you also have a USB-C port with wired video output and wired EMUI Desktop support. If you spend the same money as that Samsung tablet, you can have 256GB of internal storage. I don't mind the lack of GMS since my old Samsung Note 4 runs on Android 10 custom ROM without GMS, so this looks like a tempting alternative to Samsung's offering.

The UI is a direct copy of iPadOS. Not similar but a direct copy! Even the icons. Shameful.
